Beekeeping Experience and Honey Masterclass

As part of the Swan Valley's 'Entwined in the Valley', enjoy a three-hour workshop fully immersed in The House of Honey's 'bush to bowl' experience. 

From beekeeping in our tour hives, to learning how to profile some of WA's finest honeys, this is an experience that will enamor honey lovers, novice beekeepers and bee fanatics all around!

What to expect: 

• Learn who is in the hive, the equipment used and what it takes to be a beekeeper
• Get suited in a bee veil, gloves and suit, and open up our tour hives
• Meet the colony, find the queen, take a picture with a full frame of bees and honey
• Profile three of WA's finest honeys - a honey masterclass led by WA's only Honey Sommeliers
• Enjoy a glass of honey mead to finish!

Each ticket includes:

• 1 hour guided tour of hives by expert beekeepers
• Opportunity to ask any and all beekeeping questions
• Use of bee veil, gloves and bee suit
  
• 1 hour guided honey profiling masterclass with three tastings of honey
• Complimentary glass of sparkling honey or mead
