Beeautify Jarrah Honey Balm - 30mL
This multi-purpose honey balm is designed to soothe dry and irritated skin. Its unique formula includes Jarrah Honey, known for its high levels of antioxidants and powerful antimicrobial benefits that reduce inflammation and promote skin regeneration.
Suitable for use as:
‣ Soothing balm after shaving areas such as armpits, bikini line, eyebrows, legs
‣ Hydrating moisturiser for rough and flaky skin such as heels, elbows, knees
‣ Conditioning Beard balm
‣ Moisturiser for intimate areas
‣ An emollient for hands, nails and cuticles
‣ Protective coat for hair length and skin before swim in chlorinated water
‣ Calming balm for dry and sensitive areas on face, but it is not suitable for oily or acne-prone skin types.
Jarrah Honey: Rich in high levels of hydrogen peroxide and antioxidants, Jarrah Honey offers powerful antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties, reducing inflammation and promoting skin regeneration
Propolis: A natural ingredient made by the bees to protect their beehives from contamination. It contains over 500 bioactive molecules. Many of these molecules are flavonoids and polyphenols which have excellent antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and wound healing properties. Beeautify Propolis has been analysed by PhD pharmacy candidate at UWA and has shown high levels of Luteolin, a flavone that displays anti anti-psoriatic, anti-photoaging and photoprotective activity, when applied topically.
Macadamia Oil: A commonly overlooked native Australian oil extracted from the nuts of the Macadamia tree. This oil is deeply nourishing, non-volatile and occlusive without being greasy. Often used in cosmetics for its short spread, smooth skin feel and low scent. Macadamia oil is high in phytosterols making it effective in reducing inflammation. This paired with its high Palmitoleic fatty acid content, which naturally occurs in human skin sebum make this an excellent oil for repairing sensitive skin.
Chamomile CO2 Extract: deeply skin conditioning ingredient due to its high levels of naturally occurring anti-inflammatory components Bisabolol and azulene.
Sandalwood Oil: rich in Alpha-santalol is known for inhibiting inflammatory markers, helping reducing redness and discomfort from conditions like eczema, dermatitis and sunburn. Sustainably sourced from the Martu people, the traditional custodians of Western Australia desert lands, blending indigenous knowledge with ethical harvesting practices.
Pumpkin Seed Oil: Sourced from Pepo Farms in Victoria. High in vitamins and minerals such as Vit A, 8 different complex B vitamins, Potassium, and Zinc. Being a rich source of phytoestrogens, zinc can soothe dryness commonly experienced during menopause.
Beeswax: Sourced from western Australian beehives, our beeswax is naturally purified without the use of solvents. As an excellent source of Vitamin A, beeswax boosts regenerative processes in the skin and can reinforce skin’s natural barrier and offering protection from the environment.
